Let me first say that I no longer have this release in it's physical form and finding information obtaining to it has been a pain (to say the least). I suppose this makes sense since this release was apparently a major flop and neither of these guys were ever much more than obscure. That being said, this album is AMAZING. The reason it got so little attention is because most people's heads are filled with applesauce or something.
El Paso Hot Button is a one man extravaganza of cock-splosive proportions. As with Mickey Reece's previous releases, this offering is a grove-filled sonic experiment with a little bit of noise and a lot of NASTINESS.
Attractive and Popular bring us that sex-drenched mid-2000's electro-sass with the sass turned up to 11.

I'm not as inclined to post compilation's as they are mainly for Dads and nerds...
That being said, I would like you to ignore the previously stated sentiment and enjoy this collection of songs from New York's greatest disco-punk group.
Represented here is the Optimo LP, the Successive Reflexes 12", the Self Titled 12", and some live tracks from Berkeley Square in 1982 (in that order).

Gold Standard Laboratories [1996]

This little gem is what we might call proto-sass-punk.... Ya, that's exactly what this is. We are talking that transition between GSL and late era Three one G. Speaking of Three One G, apparently it is still a label.... I went to the website... Don't go... Really...I mean it...
This VSS record is good though. This band went on to form Slaves/Pleasure Forever. I love those bands...
