The Scissor Girls - From: The Scissor Girls To: The Imaginary Layer on Skeletons

Quinnah [1994]

It's time to get weird with some of that early(ish) -era now wave racket from Chicago's Scissor Girls. The name of the game here is obnoxious guitars, poorly play dance punk rhythms, and sass.Lot's of sass. Sass is the key.

Oh ya.... and costumes

Pre - Epic Fits

Skin Graft/ Lovepump United [2007]

I don't know why this has not been posted yet. This used to get a lot of play in my earholes a few years ago. Music from a magical time in the mid-2000's when neo-no-wave-art-punk-noise-rock was rampant in the streets. This is what that phenomenon sounded like in London....

Nice cock...

Liquid Liquid - Liquid Liquid

Mo Wax [1997]

I'm not as inclined to post compilation's as they are mainly for Dads and nerds...
That being said, I would like you to ignore the previously stated sentiment and enjoy this collection of songs from New York's greatest disco-punk group.
Represented here is the Optimo LP, the Successive Reflexes 12", the Self Titled 12", and some live tracks from Berkeley Square in 1982 (in that order).

Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Press Color

ZE [1979]

Today is French no wave day. I have declared it...
So, naturally, we are listening to certain Ms. Descloux's classic art-as-fuck dance-wave masterpiece. This is for snorting white drugs and getting weird in your basement.

This is the re-issue version of the album ZE put out in 2010. It's got a bunch of extra tracks. Enjoy.

This is a long overdue post.

Swans - Cop/Young God/Greed/Holy Money

Young God [1999]

I don't usually post album compilations like this but there is no reason to post one Swans album when this bad boy contains three albums, an EP, and 2 singles.

Swans was one of the greatest bands that ever was.

Nothing is more powerful than Swans.

Turn your speakers all the way up and listen to this until you throw up...
Then listen to it again...

Lust/Unlust [1980]

Here is a little minimalist electro-synth from Seminal no waver Robin Crutchfield after he left DNA.
