The Southern Death Cult - The Southern Death Cult

Beggars Banquet [1983]

Early positive punk for the goths...

I am currently in California visiting my family for the holidays. I was looking forward to escaping the cold and wet...
It followed me apparently.

Whoa...

So I finally got around to looking the mediafire account and was absolutely floored at how many of the files have been restricted for copyright. I mean, we have all been watching this whole file sharing thing deteriorate recently but I am still committed to to sharing music with you guys. I guess it's time to switch to another host, though. I think I'm going to go with Zippyshare. We'll see how that goes. If any of you beautiful citizens of HIMK land have any other suggestions for a file host, please throw them my way.

Gallon Drunk - You, The Night... and the Music

Clawfist [1992]

This has been a pretty consistent listen for me as of late. I think you will enjoy it. Grimy swamp rock is good for those winter-time ailments anyway. And this is the good stuff... Like Scientists good... BIRTHDAY PARTY good...
You'll see...

The Flaming Stars - Songs From the Bar Room Floor

Vinyl Japan [1996]

I feel like someone should come to my house and strangle me because I waited until now to finally listen to this band. I mean, I knew I was stupid, but know I know the true extent.
Here for your listening pleasure is the greatest sleaze-rock I have heard in a LONG time.

Los Mockers - 1965-1967

Munster [2003]

I'M BACK!
I know you missed me. We won't get into the details of my technical difficulties but lets just we are back on track my friends.

As is often the case, this little update focuses on something that has been audibly harassing me quite frequently as of late. Some people have called these guys the Rolling Stones of Uruguay. I call them fun as fuck.
The vocalist sings in english and sounds like he has a French accent for no reason. Perfect.
These recordings span the years of 1965-1967.
