The full name of this albums is actually "The Pastoral - Not Rustic - World of Their Greatest Hits". It's their first album. The Teasers sound to me like they should have come out of the 70's art punk thing. Like, I can imagine a lineup of Wayne Country, The Country Teasers, and Jonathan Richman playing a show in'79 together... It's reminiscent of The Fall but somehow stranger. Like more drugs were involved. "Anytime Cowboy" is a hit for the whole family.
