Too Pure [2004]
I don't know how to explain how much I love this band. They catchy and fucked and genius. Those 3 things. That's Mclusky. Catchy. Fucked. Genius. This was the last album they put out before they broke up and it is probably my favorite. The songs range from fuzzy, grungy noise rock anthems to indie pop gems. "She Will Only Bring You Happiness" is like the well planned love child of Weezer and The Unicorns, while the very next track, "Kkkitchens, What Were You Thinking?" jumps in feet first into a groove that would make The Melvins and The Jesus Lizard pee. Go.
